Exciting news for youth sports in San Diego! Coastal Bay Fastpitch, a non-profit girls softball league based at McEvoy Athletic Field in Mission Bay, has received a generous grant from Las Patronas—totaling nearly $10,000 in brand-new equipment and a much-needed storage container!

Thanks to this incredible support, the league now has:

• A secure storage unit
• Brand-new catcher’s gear and gloves
• High-quality batting and fielding nets
• Two advanced pitching machines capable of throwing fastballs, changeups, and curveballs

The young athletes were thrilled to receive this equipment, which will help them continue to develop their skills and grow in their sport.  This donation ensures that Coastal Bay Fastpitch can continue offering affordable, high-quality softball programs to local families in the La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Crown Point and surrounding communities —including many from our military community.
