Summer Ball is here! Ages 4-12 years old can participate during the Summer to maintain Softball skills and to continue development of these skills to prepare for Fall Ball! Let's do this together by having fun and find fun ways to stay cool! Registration includes all dates listed below, Insurance and Summer Ball t-shirt.

Registration is:

$20 for Spring Season returning Players *Coaches kids are FREE

$40 for New players *will need to send the extra $20 venmo to @coastalbaysoftball

*each player must bring their own glove and water bottle (labeled)*

Fall Season is for New and Continuing softball players who would like to maintain and improve their skill level in preparation for the following Spring Season.

Come play with your local girls from your community!

Please note that USA Softball has changed the age cutoff date for divisions. The age cutoff date is now September 1st (instead of January 1st). This means that age requirements have changed; basically, it's your daughter's age on August 31st, 2025 that determines which division she can qualify for.

New Age Divisions cutoff dates (see below)

6U Birth Age: 6 or younger on August 31st, 2025
8U Birth Age: 8 or younger on August 31st, 2025
10U Birth Age: 10 or younger on August 31st, 2025
12U Birth Age: 12 or younger on August 31st, 2025

With the new age cutoff dates for softball, girls can now "age up" in Fall Ball to prepare for the next higher level of competition, pitching distance, and larger ball size.

Practices generally are twice a week, starting in mid to late August; games will begin in September, taking place on Sundays with 10 - 12 games scheduled against teams from other local leagues, going into early November.

Cost: 6yrs old and under = $115. 8 yrs old and under, 10U and 12U = $255

Equipment needed:

Glove (mandatory)
Batting helmet (mandatory)
Bat (preferred)
Cleats (mandatory)
Softball pants (black pants preferred)
Fielding mask (infield required/ outfield strongly encouraged)

Spring 2026 and Fall 2025 Divisions:

6U Birth Age: 6 or younger on August 31st, 2025
8U Birth Age: 8 or younger on August 31st, 2025
10U Birth Age: 10 or younger on August 31st, 2025
12U Birth Age: 12 or younger on August 31st, 2025
14U Birth Age: 14 or younger on August 31st, 2025

Example: Sarah is 10 years old on August 31st.
She joins the 10U (ages 10 and under) team.
Even if Sarah turns 11 on September 3rd, she would still play 10U.
